Roy Hamilton Jr, son of the “Golden Boy of Song” Roy Hamilton, has committed himself to preserving the legacy of his legendary father. And, blessed with the drive and ambition that is engrained within all stars, as well as the melodic, soaring tenor voice left to him by his father, Roy Hamilton Jr. fills those big shoes with ease.
Like his father, Roy was born to sing, and since the age of 7, he has done just that, performing shows all over the country with a singular purpose: To ensure that the legacy of his father is never forgotten. Already a mainstay in various clubs and casinos in Atlantic City, Roy has taken his show to Las Vegas, performing at several casinos such as LVH, the Montelago, the Stratosphere, Sam’s Town Casino, Suncoast Casino, and the Sahara, and headlined his own shows at the Bootlegger Bistro and the Hawaiian Marketplace.
Recently, Roy headed to the studio, committed to recording an album of his original material. Roy Hamilton Jr. is ready to take off once again on his storied quest to ensure that his father’s legacy is never forgotten. But in 2012, Roy is going to make sure that you don’t forget him, either.
